Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to PRISMATIUM are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another during the review process.

Before external review, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, originality, academic quality, methodological or theoretical adequacy, compliance with ethical standards, and conformity with the journal's submission requirements.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to qualified reviewers with appropriate expertise in the subject area. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, confidential, and academically responsible evaluations of the manuscript.

Based on the reviewers' reports and the editorial assessment, a manuscript may be accepted, accepted subject to revision, returned for major revision, or rejected. Authors receiving revision requests are expected to respond carefully to reviewer and editor comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified deadline.

Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers where further evaluation is considered necessary. Final publication decisions are made by the editorial team based on the scholarly quality of the manuscript, the reviewers' recommendations, the authors' responses to revision requests, and compliance with the journal's ethical and editorial standards.

PRISMATIUM aims to complete the peer-review process in approximately eight weeks, although the actual review period may vary depending on reviewer availability, the complexity of the manuscript, and the extent of revisions required.
