|
About the Journal
PRISMATIUM: Journal of Multilingual Translation and Multimodal Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the study of translation across languages and semiotic modes. The journal publishes original empirical, theoretical, and methodological research examining translation strategies, meaning transformation, cultural representation, and the interaction of verbal, visual, and auditory resources in translated texts and media.
PRISMATIUM particularly welcomes research in multilingual translation studies, audiovisual and multimodal translation, and intersemiotic translation. Studies using corpus-based methods, computer-assisted translation, machine translation, or AI-assisted translation are also welcome where translation remains central to the research questions, data, and analysis.
The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and postgraduate scholars working on the translation and transformation of meaning across languages, media, cultures, and semiotic systems.
Manuscripts should follow the latest APA Style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to ensure accuracy and consistency in citations and references.
